3M (MMM) released its Q2 2025 financial results before the market opened.
Revenue came in at $6.2 billion, surpassing estimates of $6.09 billion. Adjusted earnings were $2.16 per share, beating the anticipated $2.01.
Compared to the same quarter last year, revenue increased by approximately 3.0%, up from $6.02 billion. Earnings rose significantly by about 11.9%, climbing from $1.93 per share.
The company also updated its full-year 2025 guidance. Earnings are now expected between $7.75 and $8.00 per share, above the previous range of $7.60 to $7.90 and the estimate of $7.68.
Revenue outlook was raised to $24.22 billion from an earlier range of $23.75 to $23.98 billion, exceeding the estimate of $23.96 billion.
