DoubleDown Interactive Co., Ltd. (DDI) has finalized its €55 million acquisition of WHOW Games GmbH from Azerion. An additional earn-out of up to €10 million is structured as two €5 million payments tied to WHOW Games meeting performance targets in the first and second years post-closing.
DoubleDown plans to combine WHOW Games’ strong presence in the European market and partner-driven model with its own operational expertise, marketing strengths, and rich gaming content to drive growth opportunities across Europe, especially in Germany.
