New York Mortgage Trust, Inc. (NYMT) has completed the acquisition of the remaining 50% ownership interest in Constructive Loans, LLC through an all-cash transaction, marking a key milestone in diversifying and scaling its recurring earnings with a leading operating platform.
This move follows LendingTree, Inc.’s (TREE) initial strategic investment in Constructive in 2021, underscoring confidence in Constructive’s growth potential and value within the residential credit market.
The acquisition will strengthen Constructive’s access to its proprietary origination channels and a broad third-party distribution network.
