Affiliates of CriticalPoint (CRIT) have acquired the consumer wearables brand Pura Vida© Bracelets from Vera Bradley, Inc. (VRA).
Ryan Heuser, co-founder and former president of Paul Frank Industries, has joined Pura Vida as the new chief executive officer, effective immediately, under CriticalPoint’s ownership and operational expertise.
CriticalPoint was actively seeking a high-potential consumer brand where its operational expertise could accelerate growth.
Brad Holtmeier, partner at CriticalPoint, stated that they saw that opportunity in Pura Vida.
The terms of the deal involving CriticalPoint were not disclosed.
