Snap ($SNAP) Encounters a 14.8% Fall After Q2 2025 Financial Results

Snap (SNAP) saw a significant drop in its shares by 14.8% during the after-hours session traded around $8.00 on Tuesday, 5th August 2025.

The sharp decline was due to Snap’s Q2 2025 financial results where the company reported a loss of $0.16 per share, a significant decline from the $0.02 earnings per share from the same period last year. Despite this, Snap did see a revenue increase of around 9% year-on-year, reaching $1.35 billion, surpassing the forecasted $1.34 billion.

However, the disappointing earnings report caused a stir in the market, leading to the significant decline in the company’s share price.
